Dear Mr. LA Pietra:

I realize that Debra Govaker has already thanked you for your
donation to the Boys & Girls Clubs, but I wanted to let you know
how much your gift means to me.

I've been involved with the Boys & Girls Clubs in various cities
since I was a child. For the last eight years I've been the
Director here in Kansas City. In my opinion, the dedication and
concern of our Board members and friends in Kansas City is 
unmatched anywhere.

You may not realize it, but your gift is, in every sense, an
investment in Kansas City, because without opportunity - without
hope - without direction - today's children can become tommorow's
burdens on us all.
